If you know which seed(s) you want, it is actually nice to run
this in batch mode to generate the results, then view them
when ready. For example, I have been using method XYZ
in the volume and NODE on the surface, since the seed
points of interest are known.

It isn't as fun as the interactive method, but it is convenient.
