Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

I have a sweeping stimulus that moves every four seconds to the next position on a circle. I'm having a bugger of a time with the stimulus timing files. I had tried making stimulus timing files for each of the six locations, but AFNI is not a fan of the predictable, cyclic order. Is there a different, better way to do the processing? Much thanks for your help!

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your response.
1. Yes, we are using amplitude modulation. It did say later that 3dDeconvolve closed due to a fatal error. I didn't see anything other than what I sent that was a red flag. I'll try running again and looking for a different error.
2. Your answer here makes sense due to the order of magnitude problem. What is weird is that we've processed

Hi,
I have two separate problems when trying to run the proc.py file created by uber_subject.py

ACL.letterA.final.92TR.1D is one of two stimulus timing files. There are 5 runs of 93 TRs for this task (the first data po

Hi,
We are getting the following error when trying to run the proc made in uber_subject.py:
** warning: removing first 2 TRs from beginning of each run
--> the stimulus timing files must reflect the removal of these TRs
-- will use min outlier volume as motion base
-- tcat: reps is now 91
-- volreg: using base dset min_outlier_volume+orig
++ volreg: warp and align to isotropic 3.5

Hi,
I'm registered for the class and am trying to work out travel arrangements. The schedule link does not appear to be working. Is the class a full day on Friday?
Much thanks!
