Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

thank you!
I also want to test the Group x Rating effect separately at each time point. For this purpose I am using the glfCode option - for example at the first time point I use the symbolic coding:
-num_glf 2 -glfLabel 2 vbias_group_time0 -glfCode 2 group : '1*Group1' '-1*Group2' time : '1*Time_0' vbias : \

I am here to ask for advice on whether 3dMVM or 3dLME is the better option for our data analysis. The data consist of 2 between subjects factors (Group category: Group 1 vs Group 2; Ratings: continuous between 0 - 100, one value per participant) and 1 within subjects factor (9 Time points estimated from the TENT function). I would like to perform an analysis to test whether the TENT shape is di

Thanks so much for the reply, I hadn't noticed the xsave option before which is very useful.
For running new regression on betas, may that also be done using 3ddeconvolve? This is perhaps a silly question, but I am just wondering if there are any extra steps (extra option flags?) needed to run 3ddeconvolve on non-BOLD timeseries BRIK files. Or, may I simply input a statistical BRIK file

Greetings,
I am wondering if it is possible to use the gltsym option to calculate a contrast on the single subject level on an existing statistical BRIK output from a previous 3ddeconvolve operation. More specifically, I calculated single trial beta values using the stim_times_IM option, and I now want to calculate a linear trend across each subsequent trial of each condition. I know that I

Hello,
I am working with a data set in which the raw epi data are in 4-dimensional nifti files and the t1 data in 3d nifti files. I have two sets of questions regarding what AFNI thinks about these nifti files:
1)
I decided to first change these to BRIK/HEAD files before running them through afni_proc. When doing so, the epi files were put given the “+tlrc” tag, whereas the t1 files were

Dear AFNI,
I calculated a correlation using 3dTcorr1d, then converted the r values to z values using 3dcalc. The statistical map themselves look correct: the voxels contain values that are reasonable z values. However the AFNI GUI thinks these are still r values insofar as the threshold slider has "corr" written at the top, and only gives me the options of thresholding between 0 and
