Unit on Statistical Genomics Dr. Yin Yao worked as a tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology of Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University between 2001 and 2007. She was Promoted to Associate Professor in 2005. In 2007, Dr. Yao moved to the extramural program of NIMH to lead the program of Genetic Epidemiology while she maintained her research interest in method development. In the beginning of 2011, Dr. Yao took a position as the Chief of the Unit on Statistical Genomics at the Intramural Research Program (IRP) of NIMH.
