AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

Earlier I was having a problem removing necessary cluster sizes from my functional image. You had suggested using "3dclust" to find clusters and their volumes in my image. After I ran the command

-3dclust 1.42 100 MannWhitneytest+tlrc

the result showed only one cluster volume, specifically, the result was (for the first few columns):

Volume CM RL CM AP CM IS minRL maxRL
------ ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
756545 1.9 19.3 -6.7 -66.5 71.5

I tried to remove the negative values and ran the -3dclust command again with the same results.

When I view the image in afni, I see that there is obviously more than one large cluster. If I could forward that image to you in an email or post it somewhere for viewing, I would greatly appreciate your looking at it.

A second question: where can I find a scroll bar that allows me to change the threshold value on an image? I do not think I am using the one found under the "define function" window extension correctly.

Have a lovely weekend.

Thanks,
Ellen
