AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Sorry, we don't have a simple lobular atlas distributed with AFNI. You could add many of the regions together from one or several atlases for a template, but you would still be missing some parts of the various lobes. This page from the FreeSurfer site lists a way to divide the ROIs from the Desikan-Killiany atlas (one of our Desai atlases).

You might try creating one yourself from the TT_N27 or some other template. Alternatively, some other available atlases appear to have support lobular regions:

If you use an atlas in MNI space, 3dWarp supports transforming to Talairach space using a Brett transform, but you have the option to do everything in MNI space. There are other ways to go to MNI space that can be found by searching this messageboard.
