Hi Dan,
Thanks for the quick response! Fortunately I have an old dataset in both PAR/REC and nii formats.
I did 3dPAR2AFNI -n on the a subject's .PAR file to generate my own nii file and then compared it with the nii file obtained from the technician. Below is the command and the differences. However, I still cannot tell whether the nii file from the technician was time-slice-corrected or her method of reconstruction was different in an inconsequential way. Since the new dataset is only available in .nii format, it will be essential to know whether it is time-corrected.
