Hi Erin,

It looks like that you need to update your AFNI with the following command and re-run the analysis. There was a bug in 3dLME.

@update.afni.binaries -d

The directionality can be revealed through t-tests. What do you mean when you say that you weren't able to specify a GLT? The following two would tell you the direction of the two statuses:

-gltLabel 1 'pat_eff_suc' -gltCode 1 'status : 1*con -1*pat taste : 1*suc' \
-gltLabel 2 'pat_eff_caf' -gltCode 2 'status : 1*con -1*pat taste : 1*caf' \

You can do the same for the two tastes.
