AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

@SUMA_Make_Spec_FS does generate standard meshes.

By default it generates them ld values of 141 and 60. My personal preference is powers of two (with low values for testing, high values for publication-quality analyses), but that's up to you. For example, ld=128 gives pretty meshes but may also be overkill unless you are working with high-res functional data. But any value around 100 or more will do perfectly fine.

in two terminal windows, run

1) afni -niml
2) suma -spec your_spec_file.spec -sv T1.nii.gz

then in suma press 't' to let them talk and check the alignment visually
