Given that you have so many subjects with similar problems, I would guess the lpc or its variant, lpc+ZZ, won't work for you. Try using the lpa or nmi cost functions instead. For cases where the CSF is not distinctly visible from the rest of the brain, the lpc methods do not work well. This situation usually happens with the combination of low TRs and high flip-angles.
