AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,

I'm trying to project and visualize my functional activation maps onto the cortical surface using AFNI and SUMA. The command is like:
$ afni -niml & suma -spec [spec file] -sv [aligned surface volume]

I then let SUMA talk to AFNI and then selected the bold data (i.e. bold.nii) as underlay and the activation map for VT cortex as overlay (i.e. condition1_VTcortex.nii) so that I could see functional values projected on the cortical surface in SUMA for this stimuli. My question is: if I wanted to compare two different activation maps, is it possible to set these two activation maps as overlay (i.e. condition1_VTcortex.nii & condition2_VTcortex.nii) at the same time and visualize them in a same SUMA window together?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Xixi
