Hi Jim,

TENT functions subsume lags (lags are restricted to the
TRs grid, while TENT functions can interpolate between
them). So assuming the TR is 3 s, a 12 s response can
be modeled using TENT(0,12,5), giving 5 beta weights
for the model at stim offset times 0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 s.

That would be equivalent to using -max_lag 4, assuming
events are all TR-locked. But TENTs do not need events
to be TR-locked.
