AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

I am using make_random_timing.py for the first time and can't figure out how to get it work with an 'active' baseline instead of a 'passive' baseline, such as rest.

Specifically, I have people do an odd/even digit judgment task as my baseline. I am allowing them 3 seconds to do the judgment. Thus, my baseline trials have a minimum duration of 3 seconds and must occur in 3-second chunks, i.e., 0 seconds (no baseline trials), 3 seconds (1 trial), 6 seconds (2 trials), 9 seconds (3 trials), etc.

How can I code for this in make_random_timing.py so I can figure out the best experimental design using @stim_analyze?

Regards,
Christine
