AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Rick,

thanks for the tip with -regress_compute_fitts. I will use it for the genuine task-based session. One question: -regress_compute_fitts should not change anything concerning the time needed by AFNI_proc in my script shown in the first post, correct? Thats because no fitts file is created here anyway, as the GLM is missing and I preprocess the task-based runs "as if" they were resting-state runs.

Am I correct? Or does -regress_compute_fitts still speed up the preprocessing even though in the eyes of AFNI this (see my first post) is a "resting-state" run? That would not really make sense to me.

Philipp
