AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Jim,

If you <shift>-<right click> on the image window, you will be able to
select the "Save Anim MPG" button, so that you can save multiple
images to an mpg file (if it is not an option, then your system is not
set up for the conversion - let me know if this is the case).

In order to save multiple images, you will need to accumulate them,
by clicking on the "Accumulate" button, above the "Yaw" and "done"
buttons. Once you accumulate a series of images (and have the
"Save Anim MPG" button selected, from above), you will be able to
click on "Sav:mpeg" on the accumulated image window.

When you click on that, you will be able to enter a filename prefix,
along with starting and ending indices of the images to store in your
mpg file.

Also, just to be sure, you probably want to be using the "Render [new]"
plugin, as opposed to the "Render" one.

Just let me know if you would like more details on any of this.
