AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Doug,

We tried using 3dTshift again, just to make sure it was working, which produced the following output during processing:

3dTshift -verbose -TR 2000ms -tzero 0.0 -prefix subj1_EP_tshift_test subj1_EP+orig.BRIK

++ opening input dataset header
++ using tpattern = 0 1040 80 1120 160 1200 240 1280 320 1360 400 1440 480 1520 560 1600 640 1680 720 1760 800 1840 880 1920 960 ms
++ common time point set to 0
++ copying input dataset bricks
++ Time series length = 923; FFT length set to 960
++ slice 0: fractional shift = 0
++ slice 1: fractional shift = -0.52
++ slice 2: fractional shift = -0.04
++ slice 3: fractional shift = -0.56
++ slice 4: fractional shift = -0.08
++ slice 5: fractional shift = -0.6
++ slice 6: fractional shift = -0.12
++ slice 7: fractional shift = -0.64
++ slice 8: fractional shift = -0.16
++ slice 9: fractional shift = -0.68
++ slice 10: fractional shift = -0.2
++ slice 11: fractional shift = -0.72
++ slice 12: fractional shift = -0.24
++ slice 13: fractional shift = -0.76
++ slice 14: fractional shift = -0.28
++ slice 15: fractional shift = -0.8
++ slice 16: fractional shift = -0.32
++ slice 17: fractional shift = -0.84
++ slice 18: fractional shift = -0.36
++ slice 19: fractional shift = -0.88
++ slice 20: fractional shift = -0.4
++ slice 21: fractional shift = -0.92
++ slice 22: fractional shift = -0.44
++ slice 23: fractional shift = -0.96
++ slice 24: fractional shift = -0.48
++ writing output

We then tried using the 3drefit command you had suggested, which should remove the slice-offset correction and received the following message:

3drefit -notoff subj1_EP_tshift_test+orig.BRIK

++ 3drefit: Processing AFNI dataset subj1_EP_tshift_test+orig.BRIK
** -notoff: dataset has no time-offsets to clear!

Is there a tag produced by 3dTshift that is not being written to this dataset?

Thanks!
Tim Souza
