Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Greetings AFNI experts:

I am performing group analyses using a 3dANOVA3 -type 5 model, with:

-alevels 2 for groups (males and females) and
-blevels 3 for task effect and
-clevels for individual subjects within a group.

Since I cannot use the "-xdiff" option I was wondering if I can include in -blevels contrasts of AUC: for example happy condition minus sad condition. This way I will not have to also do t-tests.

Also, another question whiles I am at it: I have converted all my f-stats to z scores which I am entering into the ANOVA. Thereafter I will perform an alphasim on the original datasets, and finally I shall convert my z scores back to p values. Please kindly advise if this is the correct way to proceed in order to get my experimental effects for groups.

Thank you,
Jasmin BS
