AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello-

I am using 3dFDR with the -input1D flag for surface data. All of the analysis to this point took place in R statistics package, so what I have as input is a vector of p values (no header). 3dFDR outputs values, but none of them are very large (highest value is .32). I was expecting some significant z statistics, since the many of the p values were significant, so I am pretty sure this output is incorrect...

Does 3dFDR need header information? Incidentally, R has an FDR package that will convert the p values to q statistics (but does not convert to z). Does AFNI have anything that will convert these q values directly to z values?
