AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I'm having some trouble with 3dfim+, getting all zeros in the bucket file.

> 3dfim+ -input all+orig -ideal_file profile.1D -out All -bucket buc1

> 3dinfo buc1+orig
Dataset File: buc1+orig
Identifier Code: XYZ_JUy7AZCVDQvR41mkcQ2hrg Creation Date: Wed Feb 25 20:01:45 2004
Dataset Type: Func-Bucket (-fbuc)
Byte Order: LSB_FIRST [this CPU native = LSB_FIRST]
Storage Mode: BRIK file
Data Axes Orientation:
first (x) = Left-to-Right
second (y) = Anterior-to-Posterior
third (z) = Superior-to-Inferior [-orient LAS]
R-to-L extent: -118.125 [R] -to- 118.125 [L] -step- 3.750 mm [ 64 voxels]
A-to-P extent: -148.125 [A] -to- 148.125 [P] -step- 3.750 mm [ 80 voxels]
I-to-S extent: -51.000 -to- 51.000 [S] -step- 6.000 mm [ 18 voxels]
Number of values stored at each pixel = 9
-- At sub-brick #0 'Fit Coef' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #1 '% Change' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #2 '% From Ave' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #3 'Baseline' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #4 'Average' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #5 'Correlation' datum type is short: 0 to 0
statcode = fico; statpar = 40 1 2
-- At sub-brick #6 '% From Top' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #7 'Topline' datum type is short: 0 to 0
-- At sub-brick #8 'Sigma Resid' datum type is short: 0 to 0

But the AFNI plugin works, and so does 3dfim:

> 3dfim -input all+orig -ideal profile.1D -prefix buc2

> 3dinfo buc2+orig
Dataset File: buc2+orig
Identifier Code: XYZ_7O9U2IUVapRL2yNAH4jakA Creation Date: Wed Feb 25 20:04:47 2004
Dataset Type: Inten+Cor (-fico)
Byte Order: LSB_FIRST [this CPU native = LSB_FIRST]
Storage Mode: BRIK file
Data Axes Orientation:
first (x) = Left-to-Right
second (y) = Anterior-to-Posterior
third (z) = Superior-to-Inferior [-orient LAS]
R-to-L extent: -118.125 [R] -to- 118.125 [L] -step- 3.750 mm [ 64 voxels]
A-to-P extent: -148.125 [A] -to- 148.125 [P] -step- 3.750 mm [ 80 voxels]
I-to-S extent: -51.000 -to- 51.000 [S] -step- 6.000 mm [ 18 voxels]
Number of values stored at each pixel = 2
-- At sub-brick #0 '#0' datum type is short: -16388 to 32767 [internal]
[* 0.00868559] -142.339 to 284.601 [scaled]
-- At sub-brick #1 '#1' datum type is short: -6185 to 8677 [internal]
[* 1e-04] -0.6185 to 0.8677 [scaled]
statcode = fico; statpar = 40 1 2
Auxiliary functional statistical parameters:
SAMPLES FIT-PARAMETERS ORT-PARAMETERS
40 1 2

I'm running it on a linux_gcc32 platform, in case it matters. Any HELP?
