Hi Shruti,
I don't think that can be scripted easily, unless you settle
for drawing boxes instead of spheres using 3dcalc. If you
want to figure out how to do a sphere in 3dcalc, that may
take a lot longer than using the drawing plugin. :)
The drawing plugin should be pretty fast for this though,
unless you need to do it hundreds of times.
If you open your dataset in the drawing tool, set the drawing
mode to '3d sphere', and set the desired radius for sphere
drawing, then drawing a bunch of them should be quick. Also,
get the xhair gap to 1, so that mouse placement is easier.
If your coordinates are in RAI mm format, then right click on
the image to get a "jump to xyz" window. Then repeatedly
cut-and-paste your rai coordinates into the jump-to window,
Apply, and center-click (to draw your sphere) at the xhair
position.
That might end up being pretty fast.
