AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Since you have 46 slices in your current volumes, you
should provide that number to to3d.

---

It would be nice not to resample the data until it has
been time-shifted. Given that SPM has changed the
resolution, it's hard to say what to do. If your data
had been aquired as alt+z say, it would not really be
appropriate to apply that anymore, since the resolution
has almost doubled now. I'm not sure what would be
best in that case.

But if your data was acquired sequentially, then it may
be okay to tell to3d about it (seq+z or seq-z). If it
was initially sequential, then it will still effectively
be sequential. However, the actual timings will only
approximately match the slices.

Again, it would be nice to do any time-shifting (via
3dTshift or during 3dvolreg) before resampling the data.
