AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I am having trouble inputting Siemens Mosaic images from an Allegra scanner:

In a few places, it says to3d can now read Siemens Mosaic images, and it is true that it does, with the gui. However, I am having a problem accurately reading in the Siemens Mosaic series as 3D+time series (for the functional scans). There are 580 files (timepoints) with 50 slices in each file. I am using something like:

to3d -prefix test -time:zt 50 580 3000 zero '3ds:-1:0:64:64:50:*.dcm'

but using this command, each image is a mixture of parts of other images, so obviously it is not working. I have tried a number of other options, but nothing seems to get the images in correctly. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks, M. Bradley
