AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Again Gang, I thank you for your assistance.

We wanted to try scaling because we have seen this done in previous studies with other statistical packages, and we wanted to see what the result would be using AFNI. I tried experimenting with this procedure, to see if it would work using waver on the .1D files and also without using waver on the .1D files, but I saw the same results using 3dDeconvolve scaling vs. non-scaling. Thus, I was inquiring to see if 3dDeconvolve or something else in AFNI can recognize weighting/scaling factors in the GLM model.

If this is not the case, how would I go about running the regression analysis with the pain ratings or an ACOVA with ratings as a covariate in AFNI.?

Thanks,

Michael
