Hi Rick,
So I tried the selection text and it seems that I have a little bit of a problem...perhaps 3dTcat doesn't take commas as dividers between different sub-briks to choose from? I'm not quite sure, but the help in 3dTcat says that's kosher. In any case, my goal in this next command line was to cut out the times the stimulus was "on" via my 1D file 1stimFor-2dur4.1D.
3dTcat scaled_RMTB+orig.HEAD\[`awk '/1/ {printf "%d,", NR-1}' 1stimFor-2dur4.1D`\]

When I just try the file selection part on the command line, I get:
scaled_RMTB+orig.\[`awk '/1/ {printf "%d,", NR-1}' 1stimFor-2dur4.1D`\]

I don't know which file name it is referring to, or what to do about this particular error...any help?
thanks!
