AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Oops, I had that backwards. The version you personally
installed in your ~/abin directory is actually not the
correct one for your system. You are running on a 64-bit
OS, and the version under your home directory is 32-bit.

The version under /usr/local/afni/bin is a 64-bit version,
and so given the 2, that is the one you should be using.
It is failing to load the plugins that were compiled for a
32-bit machine.

If you want to update the package (which might be good,
since the one under /usr/local/afni/bin is 4.5 months old),
then you should try the linux_gcc33_64.tgz package, not
linux_gcc32.tgz. Or you could tell you sys admin to do it.

In any case, your ~/abin package is not appropriate for
your system.
