AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,
I have what may be an obvious question here: I was wondering is it makes sense to run program AlphaSim to determine an appropriate clustersize and corrected threshold value using a tlrc dataset, given the below cmd line. Here's the line I'm using:

AlphaSim –nx 161 –ny 191 –nz 151 –dx 3.125 –dy 3.125 –dz 6 –iter 1000 –rmm 15.1 –pthr 0.001 –out Output.txt

161, 191, and 151 are the dimensions of my tlrc dataset, where 3.125, etc. are my orig voxel dimensions.

My main goal is to determine the critical cluster size to accept when interpreting the output from an ANOVA, thresholded at p<0.001.
