hello all,

i am trying to concatenate two transformation matrices, one from FSL (.mat file) and one in afni format (.matvec)

i want to use cat_matvec to do this.

i know there is a format difference where FSL goes from index to mm and AFNI goes from mm to mm. I dont know how orientations are considered by both matrices (i.e. what is X, Y Z referring to?). so, if orientation are the same, and the FSL .mat was created for a 1mm cubed dataset, then maybe i can just read it in directly...

has anyone done this before?

bob, if this has been worked out someplace else already, can the solution be added as an option to cat_matvec where FSL .mat files can be used on teh command line directly?
