AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Why are you converting from NIfTI to AFNI? AFNI handles the
NIfTI files quite well.

If you choose to convert, I'd use 3dCopy directly on the NIfTI file.

Under no circumstances should you convert it to ANALYZE, since
at BEST that's just throwing away good information...

Did you try using 3dcopy directly? That shouldn't give you
floats. If it does, I'll track down the problem. A few things
might cause that in a multi-volume file, such as different
scaling factors in different volumes.

If you'll upload the file to our server using the instructions
at the message board, I'll take a look at it.
