Hi all,
I have read the previous questions and answers about AlphaSim, but I am still confused about how to use it. I have some questions:
(1) The previous answers said that the correct way is to perform AlphaSim on the original data rather than the interpolated data. This means I must use the acquired resolution (3.75mm*3.75mm*5mm) rather than the interpolated resolution (3mm*3mm*3mm) of statistical maps. Could anyone explain why I must use the original data with acquired resolusion?
(2) The acquired resolusion of my data is 3.75mm*3.75mm*5mm, (5 mm thickness, and 2 mm gap). What should I use in AlphaSim? 3.75*3.75*5 or 3.75*3.75*7?
(3) I have made a mask for statistical analysis and this mask is of the interpolated resolution of 3mm*3mm*3mm which corresponds to the statistical maps. I want to use this mask when performing AlphaSim. What should I do? If I use this mask file directly, does it mean that I perform AlphaSim on the interpolated data? Or should I resample this mask file to the original resolution and then use the resampled mask file in AlphaSim? If so, should this mask file be resampled to 3mm*3mm*5mm or 3mm*3mm*7mm? Which one is correct? In fact, I don't know how to resample the mask file to 3mm*3mm*5mm.
Sorry for the long (maybe also naive) questions and any suggestions would be appreciated!
