AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

I was saying overwritten when i meant overloaded. Here is a link to the error and with little description:

That description suggests reconfiguring mpich-gm. we have asked the adminstrators if that is possible, maybe in a temp directory for us, but we are still waiting on their response.

Our final report is due friday afternoon. I'll post that online for any one who is interested and add a link. As for the code, our changes have comments saying what was changed. However we haven't got around to cleaning up what's printed to the screen, so if you use multiple processes, you may get mutiple output. We may not get around to fixing this. If you like, we can post the code online as well. Keep in mind that if you only have a cluster and mounted directories which are not a parallel file system, the initial reading of data will not scale up past about 10-13 nodes. We only made changes to the code to get the decon_ht2 script found in AFNI_data1/afni to work. It's likely that it wont work in all cases.
