AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Folks,
I am interested in creating a single slice dataset, which would be populated at each voxel position by a timeseries with 5 datapoints. I would need to fill each voxel position based on a priori coordinates. It is basically a synthetic dataset with user defined values, and explicit dimensions.

The time series would be concentrations of various metabolites from an outside program that I cannot read into AFNI. I would be hoping to create a single slice spectroscopic image. This would be used as an overlay and the underlay would be subcortical/cortical parcellations from freesurfer that are used to draw segmentation defined regions of interest on the MRSI data.

I am not sure exactly what AFNI tools to start with so if anyone could provide some minor guidance as to what tools would be handy, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Brian
