AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Andy,

So you mean to jitter by an integral multiple of your 2 second
TR, is that correct? If so, that is how it should already work.

When running RSFgen, it is common to leave 20%-50% of the TRs
without any stimulus. For example, one might have 500 TRs, and
3 stimulus classes with 120 TRs each. That would be using 360
TRs for stimuli (72%) and 140 for the rest state/baseline (28%).

The stimuli would be separated by random numbers of rest state
TRs. Is this the sort of jittering you are hoping for?
