AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Afni Gurus,

Recently we have begun to jitter off of TR, and use the stim_nptr function for deconvolution analysis and several of us are getting some similarly strange results. The results are strange for 2 reasons. First, we are not finding the same active clusters when replicating previous findings. Second, when we extract timecourses from clusters they're very strange looking -- quite jagged, do not show differential responses to our conditions, and not the pretty canonical transient smooth rise and fall as we've found in similar studies. We're running a simultaneuous regression with both sustained block regressors and event-related regressors. (We've done this in the past before we began to jitter off of TR and everything looked great.) Below I've pasted my big, ugly 3dDeconvolve command. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Jen
