AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Gang,

I was just wondering about this very same thing (doing my first group level analysis), and unfortunately I am still a little confused. Could you clarify what these two values mean in relation to the t-test performed by 3dttest?

I have performed a one-sample ttest to generate group data from a single task. If I wish to compare the distribution of an individuals functional mapping to the group, would I compare the individual's -tout data from 3dDeconvolve with the sub-brick 1 t-value from 3dttest?

Or should I compare the individual's percent change with the sub-brick 0 intensity from 3dttest?

Please advise if I am totally off base.
