AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Ziad,

Thanks for the input.
I'm still a bit confused.

>By dset you mean here an volumetric dataset? If that is the case then that

>do with the volume from subject 1 and vice versa.

I mean the 1D files output from 3dVol2Surf. I expect these files would be able to be loaded on diff. subject's std mesh surfaces with only slight variability; much like the ouput from 1deval would look loaded on each subj's std mesh surface.

I double checked my initial subj spec files and all have a spere.reg.
Here are the steps I have run (for each subj):
MapIcosahedron -spec subj_rh.spec -ld 141 -prefix subj_rh_ico_141

3dVol2Surf
-spec subj_rh_ico_141_std.spec
-surf_A subj_rh_ico_141_std.pial.asc
-surf_B subj_rh_ico_141_std.smoothwm.asc
-sv subj_NoSkull_SurfVol_Alnd_Exp+orig
-grid_parent subj_rh_func+orig
-map_func ave
-out_1D subj_rh_ico.1D.dset

The -sv file is the structural from my experimental scan that has been aligned to the subject's reconstructed surface.

Does anything look incorrect above? Am I missing a step?

Thanks
