AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have an oblique DTI data set.
When I run 3dinfo on it, it shows up as being RAS.
If I convert it to nifti, it shows up upright in AFNI, and upside down in FSL, but with the labels in the proper places.

I want to leave it oblique, but I want to to change the orientation from RAS to LPI so that it will appear "upright" in FSL.

when i run
3dresample -orient LPI -prefix dti-lpi.nii

it shows up "upside down" in afni. "upright" in FSL, but with incorrect labels (i.e. A/P and I/S are flipped)

If I de-oblique the data first, i dont get this problem.
I also get this error message
qform not present, sform used
sform was not exact, and the worse axis is
0.155766 degrees from plumb.

Can i get some info on
How to flip my data properly?
Can I fool afni into thinking that my oblique data is not oblique?
What does this error message mean?
