AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Ziad, thanks so much for looking into this for me.

I'm running RedHat Enterprise Linux v. 4
I routinely download the linux_gcc32 binaries; the version I'm using currently was compiled on Jan 16, 2008.

And, here's another thing. I've since tried this with a second subject. And, in both cases, smoothing on the RH works fine and the LH gives the follwong similar error message (for the 2nd subj.):

** nodemax(+1) of 118957(+1) is larger than the forced_mask_length of 117291
-cmask datasets may be inappropriate for surface used
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x0097e800 ***
Abort (core dumped)

I'm working on a 3rd subject right now and this time the LH was able to be smoothed (haven't tried the RH yet).

Any suggestions on how to get past this?

Thanks,
Adam
