AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Mark,

Daniel checked his system, and does not have the libraries under
/usr/X11R6/lib either, they are just under the SDKs directory.
So the linker must check the relevant directory automatically.

But that brings up the point that your 'ls' output shows only the
10.4 SDK, not from 10.5. Is it possible that you installed the
developer toolkit from the 10.4 disks, but not from 10.5?

---

On top of that, Daniel and others on the message board, such as
Frank Haist, say that the X11 package (XQuartz) shipped with 10.5
is not very stable. It is hightly recommended that you download
an updated XQuartz package from the web site:

[trac.macosforge.org]

I see that they recommend updating to 10.5.2 before updating the
XQuartz package...
