AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Please help with the following problem!

Our New version of AFNI/SUMA :

Version AFNI_2008_02_01_1144
[[Precompiled binary macosx_10.4_Intel: Jul 15 2008]]

Is unable to read .niml.roi files into SUMA which were created using older versions of AFNI/SUMA.

This is Version AFNI_2006_03_21_1314
[[Precompiled binary macosx_10.4_G5: May 4 2006]]

Similarly, our older versions of afni are unable to read .niml.roi files created using our new version of AFNI/SUMA


The error message that appears on the screen is:
Error: SUMA_OpenDrawnROI_NIML:
ROI's parents surface
is not loaded. ROI is
discarded

This message appears multiple times (one per roi?) and then SUMA quits.

Examining the niml.roi files themselves reveals the following differences in header info across version:
