AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear Afni Experts,

I am running the command:

3dmaxima \
-out_rad 10 -min_dist 10 \
-spheres_1toN \
-input MASKED_ttest_6bl_FacesV0+tlrc.'[0]' \
-prefix FacesVO_maxima10voxspheres

The input data is a masked ttest, with significant voxels having values of signal and all other voxels having a value of zero.
The output of the 3dmaxima, however, has these huge blobs, covering almost the entire extent of both the brain and the area outside of the brain. I've tried playing around with the out_rad and min_dist values, but still keep getting lots of blobs outside the brain. Any thoughts on what I could be doing here?
