AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

3dSkullStrip is present in the solaris29_suncc and solaris29_suncc_64 binaries that we distribute. The best way to get AFNI binaries is from

[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]

and download (say) solaris29_suncc.tgz and then unpack it.

However, these binaries are compiled with Sun's optional math library, for speed, and so if that isn't installed on your system, they won't actually run. In that case, you'd have to compile your own binaries.

If you are using an earlier version of Solaris, then we don't provide binaries for such a system.

Switch to a Mac! Or Linux! [not an endorsement of any commercial product]
