AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi experts,

I encountered a strange problem about to3d. After to3d, the 2D anatomy is NOT aligned with the functional images. When acquiring the functional data, we copied parameters from the 2D anatomical images (opening the EPI sequence, right click the 2D sequence, copy parameter, then select the first option. The machine is a Siemens 3T). So I am confused why this could happen. The scanner is a Siemens 3T. If anyone would like to help me to figure out if the two kinds of images are not originally aligned or something wrong with the to3d, I will send her/him the 2d anatomy and one frame of EPI. I tried to attach them but failed. Thanks!

Cheers,

Min
