AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have a related issue... the "where am i" option is deactivated in afni. that is, it is not bright yellow and i cannot click on it.

I'm afraid this may be related to another afni issue we had. Our server manager said that "the problem you're having with AFNI is that
the software which they distribute is not up to date with the most
recent system libraries." So he downloaded the AFNI source code and compiled it against the newer library. Everything worked fine until I noticed this whereami problem, but I'm not sure they're related.

Is the "whereami" problem more simple than that? Does anyone suggestions? Thanks!
