AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi John,

Perhaps others are in the same boat as I am... I simply do not
understand what you are trying to compute. Are you talking about
computing the overlap of some particular ROI across each subject,
either an anatomical or a statistical ROI?

It isn't clear from what you are extracting coordinates, how the
coordinates are compared, or why. Would these possibly be ROI
centers of mass? Maybe statistical peaks?

When you say "take the average of all func data", what is the
"func data" that you refer to? Is it EPI, or maybe beta weights?
Your second step is to extract into a single dataset. Again, I
do not understand.

If you show and describe the actual commands, maybe it will be
more clear.

Thanks,

- rick
