The problem was caused by inappropriate colormaps in the manually edited annotation file. The current FSread_annot will no longer crash on these files, but it can't give you as much information in the output as when the colormap is present (no names for example). But it seems you have your own external cmaps so I added a new option (-FScmap) that allows you to use those instead of the cmaps in the annotation file.
