AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Can I use -rotparent option in 3drotate if my parent dataset is EPI?

I have 3 datasets E1 E2 E3 (all EPIs) and I aligned E2 to E1using 3dVolreg and the output is, say, E2_toE1.

If I use this E2_toE1 as my rotate parent in 3drotate to apply the same rotation transformations to E3 (i.e. to align E3 to E1), will that work?

Note: E3 is basically processed version of E2 and therefore E3 doesn't have much structure left to align it to E1.

Thanks in advance.
