AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi John,

The only time you would not use -master is if there isn't one
that would be appropriate. Otherwise, that is the way to be
sure all of your datasets have the same dimensions, origins
and grid spacing.

If you are scripting things and need to start with -dimen,
then do it once, and apply it as -master for the others.

---

What is the -rss option you refer to? Is that from another
program, or do you mean -srad? That should always be larger
than a voxel dimension, otherwise there is no reason to use
it (then just stick to each single voxel getting set). Some
people want spheres at certain locations to compute average
time series over them.
