AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have a question regarding an approach discussed on an earlier thread:

Author: Gregory Samanez-Larkin (---.hsd1.ca.comcast.net)

>My plan was to run 3dDecon with all the event regressors (200 in my case) and just output the coefficients (not all the model stats).

In order to do this analysis, would something like this work to get the betas?

3dDeconvolve -input s11_norm+tlrc \
-polort 7 \
-num_stimts 4 \
-stim_file 1 FAtimes.1D -stim_label 1 FA \
-stim_file 2 FAtimes.1D -stim_label 2 FF \
-stim_file 3 FAtimes.1D -stim_label 3 NF \
-stim_file 4 FAtimes.1D -stim_label 4 MF \
-bout \
-bucket s11_betacoefs

Each 1D file would have 1s at TRs that matched its condition, and 0s at the other TRs.

thanks,
Lesley
