AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I tried to do both

-anat2epi and -epi2anat

just to view the differences. In epi2anat, my anat appeared smaller than my mask and the mask (which essentially covers the whole brain or is supposed to at least) had an outline around it as if it fit the anat with skull better than anat_ns. However, the anat2epi fit the mask perfectly within the anat_ns. Is there any reason why I would want to do one over the other? I know anat2epi is default and seems to work better, but in what situation would I do epi2anat?
