AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Sorry for not being specific.

The "list.of.normal.control.ERRTs.files+tlrc" would be the Errts output from 3dDeconvolve for each fo the subjects included in the group:

#set fear subbrick from stats
set fear = "1"

#t-test
3dttest -set1 s1.errts+tlrc s2.errts+tlrc... -set2 s1.stats+tlrc"[$fear]" s1.stats+tlrc"[$fear]"... -prefix Controls.Fear_Versus_Errts

Our concern with using "-base1 0" is that wouldn't this t-test only identify voxels whose Coefficient are significant from 0, not neccessarliy different from a baseline (or fixed)? Although you could make the assumption that 0 would be baseline. Wouldn't the Errts dataset be a better baseline activation than 0? Or I am missing a part of the model which has the baseline?

Thanks
